At the beginning of the Netball trials I was never interested in netball. All of my friends Vanila, Tule, Aniesha and Aliza were playing netball so I felt left out . Vanila saw how I felt left out so then she said, "come with us and play so you do not feel left out." The next day on Thursday I came to the netball trials, I was so nervous because I had no idea how to play .
On Monday we had to see who made it onto the team. I was thinking negative about making it and was so surprised when my friends came to me and said that I had made the team . I was excited and nervous at the same time because I knew the tournaments were only a few weeks away and I still wasn’t sure about my skills. I really had no idea of how to play.
My coach's name is Mrs Nua. Mrs Nua trains two teams, year 6 Team 2 and year 8 team 2 . I think that she is a very good coach. Every time we have a tournament she is always there to support both of her teams. If one of the netball players make a mistake she always say it doesn't matter you learn from your mistakes.
Next time, I hope I learn from my mistakes and make my team, my coach, and of course myself happy.
