Different Kinds Of Birds.

Kia Ora, Im going to tell you about Some Birds in the world. Did you know that there are around 10000 different species of birds? The Ostrich is the largest bird in the world, it also lays the largest eggs. The Ostrich has the fastest maximum running speed (97 kilometres per hour)

Birds have hollow bones which help them fly. Some bird species are intelligent enough to create and use tools.
The chicken is the most common bird in the world.

Hummingbirds can fly backwards, isn't that amazing?
I think birds are incredible because pigeon birds can be used to carry messages.

Titanium.

“Kia ora”. I’d like to tell you about one of the greatest bands in New Zealand called “Titanium” . Titanium is a band formed in Auckland New Zealand 2012, the winners of “The Edge” radio stations, to create New Zealand's first boy band.
The radio auditions hosted across New Zealand, and six young men were selected. The names of these men are called “Shaquille Paranihi- Ngauma, Jordi Webber, Andrew Papa’s, T.K Paradza, and Haydn Linsley.

Titanium became the first New Zealand band to have three songs at the top 40 singles chart at one time. Titanium. shortly after their first single “Come on home”.

Hailstones

                             

 
Hailstones
During class time the sun was shining as bright as ever.
A few minutes later grey clouds were covering the sky.
Everyone one was working quietly. Suddenly BOOM! a huge thunder came out of nowhere. All the students were frightened and some were scared.

The sky was quiet and so was the class. It started raining a little then it got heavier, and heavier the next thing you know it was hailing! it looked so awesome.
The students in my class got their cameras out and took pictures and videos of the hailstones.

The class was crowded in front of the door capturing
photo’s and video’s. I couldn’t capture anything because I couldn’t get the shot that I wanted because the students were blocking my way.


I've seen hail stones just not that much. I felt like going outside with a bowl and catching them all.

So I went through the back door, luckily I was the only one there.

As soon as I opened the door, the first thing I saw was hailstones all gathered together.  I took so many snapshots of them. In a bunch they look like sparkling white diamonds. I looked behind me, and on our school deck I saw a huge pile of hailstones and I quickly told one of the students in or class to come take a look.

I enjoy watching hailstones falling from the sky
it feels as if its snowing.

Fireworks Day:)

“Guess what day it was on the third of November? It was fireworks day”! During 10 pm on fireworks day, at Langiola Mangere street it was so colourful and loud. Everybody got together, light their fireworks and enjoyed the beautiful night.

My brother and sister climbed up the roof and enjoyed watching the fireworks, it was bursting their bright colours and making loud noises like the sound of gun shots.

During that night my cousin Alexander came down the driveway, as he was driving down all the little kids came running up to his car, he stopped.and the kids said “did you bring fireworks”? "did you bring fireworks like you always do”? my cousin replied “oh sorry not this year” the kids emotions were all shocked and sad.

As my cousin got out of his car I had goose bumps on my arms and butterflies in my stomach, hoping that he bought some fireworks. He saw me scared and worried, Junior told me to open the backboot of his car, as I opened the backboot all I saw was black sheets covering something. he told me to pull the black sheet. I pulled it, when I saw what was under it I quickly jumped and hugged my cousin. He brought me a big box of badboy fireworks.

I was rushing in the house looking for the lighter I quickly grabbed it from the table, ran outside snatched my box of fireworks, and rushed up the driveway. I was on the road lighting up my fireworks some kids wanted some sparkles so I was being nice and giving it to them. The big kids were lighting up their ground fireworks called cascades and throwing them under peoples legs, it was so funny because people didn’t even notice it was there.

It was 11pm and I was still in the middle of the street lighting my fireworks. I enjoyed playing with them and if it wasn’t for my lovely caring cousin junior I wouldn’t have any fireworks and my night wouldn’t be so joyful.

Best friend I've Ever Had.

Tule is my best friend. I met her last year in 2011. Tule and I were not that close, we hardly hang around with each other until it was a new year in 2012. In the new year Tule and I got put in the same class, Room 18.

When Tule and I saw each other that we were put in the same class. We hang out a lot, then we got use to hanging out with each other we ended up being best friends. When we are always together in class we end up getting in trouble because we talk a lot.

Tule and I have a lot in common, Have you ever had a best friend who has a lot in common with you? We laugh together and also argue for fun. Sometimes we joke and fob out and laugh like weirdos. We call ourselves sister and twins, we talk like Americans and laugh because of our axent.

This year is the last year of intermediate  for Tule and I. I hope she comes to the same college as me, so we can be sisters for ever.  I've never had a friend who I can trust, tell my secrets to and laugh with.

Toy Story

Toy Story   

This term is the last term of the year, term 4. The topic for this term  is Toy Story. Toy story is not about the movie its kind of about memories that happened in the past.

When I was about  5 years old I remember I had a barbie doll. I was told that I had this doll when I was about 1 years old. I don’t have this doll right now, because when I was 7 I remember my cousins going into my bedroom taking my doll and running around with it in the hall way. They tear it up and leave the stuffing of the doll left on the floor.
